$50 worth of beer vs. me & the boys.

WE WON!

We also tackled all three Evil Dead movies, an old nerdy X-Men boardgame, chicken wings, brownies, cookies, ziti, sausage and peppers, Mortal Kombat 2, and Mario Kart.

Nah, that's Dead Alive. Another classic of my adolescence, and probably the bloodiest film ever.

Evil Dead is the first movie directed by Sam Raimi (who has since gone on to direct the Spiderman movies, among other things.) It was a very very indie movie, and truth be told, it was only so-so. However, they got more funding together and made a much better movie, Evil Dead 2, which is sort of a re-hash of the first story. Then they got some serious funding and made the BEST one, Army of Darkness, which is about equal parts of action, comedy, and horror.

All three films star Sam's childhood friend, Bruce Campbell, as the hapless and hilarious hero, Ash.

to correctly inform you, ED2 is better than AoD. the two movies are one, er.. or 2 of the founding blocks of me and Nicks friendship.

Yeah, that was the worst/best I've been for a long time. I don't really remember people leaving, though I think Erik was the last to leave.

LOL, I'm sorry, that was a pretty classic fall. Hope you heal up quick, though. We should totally rock paintball next.

That X-Men game sucked hard, but all those mini plastic figures were awesome (and so many different characters!)

That's exactly the one! And yeah, we mostly spent our time admiring the figures.
